ABOUT US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to EMPOWER WOMEN THROUGH EDUCATION’ by supplying the most current, up-to-date medical information from well known cancer organizations. Patients and their families can then make informed decisions regarding treatment and recovery.   Our Care Bag is designed to EMPOWER women by supplying much of the information they need to EDUCATE themselves on the different treatment choices available.  Women who choose to be pro-active in their health care will have the necessary information to take the next steps.  The Care Bag also brings COMFORT because it contains many items that have proven to be helpful in lessening the stress and discomfort they will experience during their road to recovery.  Our signature Pink Comfort Pillow and “Hope”, the Breast Cancer Research Bear, will continually bring comfort and support - patients will know that someone cared enough to supply them with the essential tools they will need in their fight for survival against breast cancer.

Goals

Our goal is to assist each newly diagnosed breast cancer patient through education so that she can make better-informed decisions about her treatment choices. A diagnosis of breast cancer is not only frightening, it is confusing. The patient’s brain shuts down and she may not even hear everything the doctor says.  Our Care Bags help both the medical professional and the breast cancer patient by providing essential information and personal items that immediately will educate, comfort and support her.  She leaves the physician’s office with up-to-date medical information that will aid her during the difficult times ahead, especially the first 48 hours.
